When I started out doing make-up professionally, I am part of team. That team was composed of 2 other friends who share the same passion as I am. It was a blast working with them but we had to go separate ways (make-up career-wise) because of other priorities. more…
People these days are cost cutting, avoiding unnecessary purchases and splurges, and making tough decisions on their finances. Some people find it wiser to invest at this time because of low interest rates. As for our home front, we are trying to cut unnecessary purchases and try to not waste any food by only buying groceries that we need. I do not know of anyone who is not affected by this crisis. more…
Last weekend, I accompanied hubby’s cousin’s fiancee for some foundation shopping at ULTA, Macy’s and Sephora. I really enjoyed Sephora from among the 3 stores. more…
Dark circles, heavy bags and puffyness.
I guess by this time, you know what I am talking about! No less than one of our greatest problem areas, the racoon eyes! more…
Whee, this blog is still alive, ok
. Thanks for my frequent readers who continuously read my entries here, sponsor3d or not
. I love you guys! You know who you are. Anyways, I am on the last 2 weeks of Spring Quarter, and yes deadlines and exams are all over me. What is nice about all this is the fact that I will be on a week of vacation, (yea just a week!) really looking forward to our 4th of July weekend getaway with couple-friends. Other than my school, I have been helping out hubby’s cousin and his fiancee for their upcoming wedding. We get to talk a lot about marriage life and they would also seek our advice on the most trivial wedding and family issues such as which life insurance rates and services should they get. Hubby and I are very much willing to help
. So there, that’s just a glimpse of how busy I am.
Moving on to organizing make-up.
Ever since, I got into mineral make-up and loose pigments, it became impossible to fit all my pigment containers in my make-up traincase because they can get very messy. So after some exchange of ideas with friends at twitter, our make-up forum and flickr friends, I decided to buy this “tools” container from WalMart at only $6.88 for the whole thing. Voila! They look so organized now. I need to buy some more to accommodate the rest of my make-up which have been silently kept in my traincase. This tools organizer rocks because it fits perfectly on my vanity cabinets and drawers. You can even try those plastic canisters/mini-cabinets or silverware organizers. What ever you pick, it’s your choice and let me tell that if you are planning to buy any of those expensive train cases, think twice especially if you do not travel a lot.
More entries in the days to come, I’ve taken photos of my recent hauls and their all up in my private flickr waiting for me to post them here and make reviews
. Till then.

They say Genetics contribute a lot to the kind of skin a person has. I agree with this. Fortunately for me, I inherited my mom’s genes which is not acne-prone, although my mom’s skin is way way better than mine.
Speaking of genes, if you are interested to trace your roots, you might want to check out this ancestry dna site and be surprised how far you can go as per your family background is concerned.
Moving on, I found this best 10 Skin Care Tips from THIS SITE and I agree with most of the items here. I’m guilty of #1 and eventhough I am very much aware how much Sun can be damaging to the skin, I am so lazy in terms of applying sunblock.
1. Be religious about sun protection.
2. Support “the girls” at all times, even while you sleep.
3. Consider plastic surgery as a last resort.
4. Do your research if you decide plastic surgery is right for you
5. Stop (or don’t start) smoking.
6. Drink lots of water.
7. Give up caffeine.
8. Exercise!
9. Cut back on stress.
10. Nourish your inner beauty.

I feel like blogging today. Haven’t you noticed? I’ve been bombarding this blog with entries
. So before I proceed and contact this porcelain tile supplier hubby asked me to do, I am going to share my recent lipgloss haul.

From Left to Right:
1.) Maybelline Watershine 3d essence in Bewitching Pink
2.) Smashbox Duo Lipgloss in Date Night and Ladies Night
3.) MAC Lustreglass in Beaux
4.) MAC Lipglass in Magnetique
5.) MAC Lipglass in Languish
6.) MAC Lipglass in Mouthwatering
7.) MAC Lipglass in Fleur de Light
8.) Clinique Long last glosswear SPF 15 in Air Kiss
9.) Smashbox O-gloss
If there is 1 thing I love to hoard, that would be lipsticks/lipglosses
. I just can’t get enough of them.
Anyways, I could not really make an in-depth review of all these lipglosses because I love them all. But you all know that MAC Lipglass can really create a very luminous effect on the lips. It also reduces all lip lines and it is long-wearing. On the other hand, Smashbox lip glosses are heavy in terms of coverage and I love it because it is very pigmented. The Clinique Long Last glosswear has very light coverage. But the biggest surprise is the Smashbox O-gloss
. I just love it and perfect for Summer. It gives you the natural perfect shade of pink that suits your skintone. It’s magic!
What are you favorite lipglosses?
Back in college and in my early days as an office girl, Body Shop is a frequent cosmetics store I visit. Once I’m inside this store, I find it so hard to find the exit signs and get out of this store hee hee. Aside from my regular purchase of their body butter creams and moisturizers, I make sure to always have My Bodyshop Lip&Cheek Stain. You can check THIS ENTRY why I ceased buying this Lip&Cheek stain staple.
Aside from their body butter, these 2 shimmer waves are what I consider 2 of Body Shop’s must-haves. I even used these to my brides before. These are Bronze and Pink Shimmer Waves, for the cheeks and eyes. For best results on eye make-up, it is better applied when wet
.
What are you Body Shop must haves?

I received a children’s party invite from a dear friend in Kentucky. We were both telling each other how it would be fun for my son to attend her sons’ birthday party (A is turning 6 and B is turning 1). But, of course, that is not the case, it would take me and hubby to take off days from what we are busy from, not to mention sparing a hefty amount of airfare.

I know for a fact that I am passionate about make-up and I love collecting them. So when I started to collect purses, I thought I would get the same high every time I look at my bags and wear them. But unfortunately, just as I was fixing and tinkering on my make-up, taking photos of them, writing entries here, I realized that NO I am not a baghag after all. I don’t get the same satisfaction and bliss that I have when I look at my make-up collection or when I share them through blogging. Oh do not mind me, I am just thinking out loud
. Off to check on this Atlanta plumbing website. yay!
