I received a children’s party invite from a dear friend in Kentucky. We were both telling each other how it would be fun for my son to attend her sons’ birthday party (A is turning 6 and B is turning 1). But, of course, that is not the case, it would take me and hubby to take off days from what we are busy from, not to mention sparing a hefty amount of airfare. 

Honestly, children’s parties are just the few things I missed celebrating back home.
