October 27th, 2010

clinique-bca-productsI know we are all starting to get busy, writing those holiday cards, jump-starting your holiday shopping and many other activities, but you’ve got until October 31 to take part in the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Clinique came out with a special limited-edition bottle of its best-selling Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion ($35) and a limited-edition lip trio key ring ($16).

According to Nitrolicious.com:

The lotion features a collectable Clinique key ring with a Pink Ribbon heart charm and Clinique “C” charm, $10 will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation for each sale. The key ring features an exclusive Pink Ribbon heart charm, Clinique “C” charm and three mini lip favorites: Long Last Glosswear SPF 15 in Clearly Pink, Superbalm Moisturizing Gloss in Grapefruit, and Different Lipstick in Glazed Berry. Each of these pink shades were chosen in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness’ signature color and $4 will be donated for each sale.

I may not be worried about developing adult acne as I never had acne before and I can only count in my 2 hands the number of times I had zit in my face, but I have to worry about some skin irritation growing on my cheeks, not to mention my unstoppable growing freckles and pigmentation. So yes, I started to grow some red rashes (very few) on my lower cheeks. I have researched about it and looks like it’s a very mild case of Rosacea, I really hope I am wrong. After reading an awful lot of reviews, I am going to treat this before it worsens. Since I am a Clinique products user, I want to try their Redness Solutions line. I will review the products after a month of usage.

I feel like blogging today. Haven’t you noticed? I’ve been bombarding this blog with entries :) . So before I proceed and contact this porcelain tile supplier hubby asked me to do, I am going to share my recent lipgloss haul.

From Left to Right:
1.) Maybelline Watershine 3d essence in Bewitching Pink
2.) Smashbox Duo Lipgloss in Date Night and Ladies Night
3.) MAC Lustreglass in Beaux
4.) MAC Lipglass in Magnetique
5.) MAC Lipglass in Languish
6.) MAC Lipglass in Mouthwatering
7.) MAC Lipglass in Fleur de Light
8.) Clinique Long last glosswear SPF 15 in Air Kiss
9.) Smashbox O-gloss

If there is 1 thing I love to hoard, that would be lipsticks/lipglosses :) . I just can’t get enough of them.

Anyways, I could not really make an in-depth review of all these lipglosses because I love them all. But you all know that MAC Lipglass can really create a very luminous effect on the lips. It also reduces all lip lines and it is long-wearing. On the other hand, Smashbox lip glosses are heavy in terms of coverage and I love it because it is very pigmented. The Clinique Long Last glosswear has very light coverage. But the biggest surprise is the Smashbox O-gloss :) . I just love it and perfect for Summer. It gives you the natural perfect shade of pink that suits your skintone. It’s magic!

What are you favorite lipglosses?
