Two weeks ago, I received this package full of Maybelline Loot plus a bagtag which I find very cute in the mail. I was not expecting this to come after I spoke with my friend who was supposed to send this last year haha. So yes, this loot came my friend, H, who is one of Maybelline’s NY Color Artists and he would often give me a portion of his make-up allowance. hee hee. This was what he sent me, a first Maybelline loot in 2010. Looking forward to more freebies this year.

I am going to make an extensive review on this however, I need to check on these acne pills first. So these include the following: (most are new products)
- Angel Fit Flawless Natural Two Way Cake Foundation
- Watershine Collagen Shimmer in B23
- Watershine Pure in M31
- Clear Smooth Minerals Healthy Natural Luminous Blush in NOO Soft Mauve
- Vivid & Smooth liner in Plum and Green
- Volum Express Cat Eyes Mascara Waterproof Hypercurl
The first time I chanced upon this Too Faced LashLight was when I was checking on this order fulfillment site. Amazing I must say, another first from Too Faced brand. You can now clearly see the stubborn and very minute lashes for that fuller look. An extensive review and photos can be found HERE. I guess for the price of $25.00, it’s worth the try.

LASHLIGHT
What it is:
An innovative mascara formula containing millions of microscopic mirrors that bounce light off lashes for a super-glossy, jet-black finish with an exclusive light up wand to spotlight each lash for the most precise application possible.
What it does:
LASHLIGHT is formulated to thicken, lengthen, and condition while coating lashes with the glossiest of jet-black finishes to make eyes look brighter, whiter, and camera ready. A combination of Panthenol and Vitamins C and E keep lashes healthy and Red Algae increases Keratin resistance for maximum lash flexibility. The patented formula contains millions of microscopic mirrors that bounce light off lashes for the deepest, jet-black finish that lasts all day.
What else you need to know:
The slightly tapered brush-tip gives you access to even the tiniest lashes, while perfectly spaced bristles give length and separation without tangles and clumps. Also, the exclusive light-up LED wand spotlights every lash for the perfect mascara application every time and the close-up mirror on the side of the component is perfect for on-the-go application.
Size: 0.31 oz
A friend is going to shop for an eyelash curler over the weekend (while her hubby shops for pet supplies) and wants my opinion on my top choices. Before I became a make-up artist, I didn’t really care what brand or kind of eyelash curler to use, I usually get the cheapest pick (cheapskate I am!) and would spend more on mascara. But after strutting some apprenticeships with the more experienced make-up artists, I have learned that choosing the best eyelash curler can make or break your eye make-up.
Here are my top picks:
1. Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler: Who wouldn’t love this eyelash curler? This is the best so far and popularly-known to give you that long-lasting and natural curve for your eyelashes. My only problem with this one is that it is not wide enough for big eyes. I remembered this was my sole reason why I chose Shiseido eyelash curler over Shu Uemura brand, when I was still doing make-up professionally. When I encounter clients with eyes that are wide (not big), I had to do the 1st half of their lashes and on to the next. It was quite taxing. But in general, this is the best eyelash curler.
2. Shiseido Eyelash Curler: The curve it produces your lashes is almost the same as what Shu Uemura brand can give you but the curl/curve is not that long-wearing/lasting as compared with Shu Uemura. This is my current eyelash curler and have been using it for almost 5 years now, I just change the rubber from time to time
.

3. Japonesque Power Curl Eyelash Curler: It gives you a straight-line pressure that produces a natural curl. A bit cheaper than the first two. If you want to save some bucks, this is a good pick.
