If choosing the best home theatre system used to be hubby’s shopping dilemma, shopping for the right eyeshadow palette is a dilemma to me. You know why? Because we both could not afford buying more than 1. He would rather invest on 1 (quality-wise) that would last us a lifetime. Same goes with shopping for the right and most complete eyeshadow palette, I just need one palette that carries the most comprehensive eyeshadow color collection.
Now, this Urban Decay 15-year Anniversary Eyeshadow Collection could have been a better choice than my Urban Decay NAKED and Urban Decay Limited Edition NYC Book of Shadows Vol. 3 because it combined all my essential eyeshadow colors in 1 palette, the basic nudes, pinks, golds, blues and greens. Generally, a collection of nude, bright and deep colors. The packaging is even better, looks to me an easy to manage travel palette. Oh well, I think I would have to skip this even if they claim that shades included in this palette are all new. But if you have not invested in an Urban Decay eyeshadow palette just yet, this is a good choice. But it is out of stock (ALREADY!) so just wait, they will reproduce for sure. Remember the NAKED craze? I guess they are starting a marketing hype once again
.

15 ALL-NEW shadows for our big 15! You get neutrals, brights AND deep shades in a sleek gunmetal collectible box (our most luxe EVER!).
It’s our party, and we’ll launch 15 NEW (and only in this kit!) eyeshadow shades if we want to! With just the right balance of neutrals and brights, darks and lights, the 15-Year Anniversary Palette is both versatile and the ultimate UD junkie collection. Shades like “Junkshow” (a bright pink), “Evidence” (a deep metallic blue) and Midnight 15 (an oyster pearl shade) mesmerize the eyes. The collectible gunmetal outer box features a luxe faceted jewel “UD” on the cover and an eye-grabbing laser-cut filigree design on the sides. Inside, the shadow tray pulls out to reveal a velvet-lined compartment that can be used to stash jewelry or personal mementos.
Included in this kit: Deeper (deep shimmery golden brown), M.I.A. (soft shimmery dark brown), Ace (dark gunmetal shimmer), Blackout (darkest, most saturated black), Half Truth (shimmery smoky purple), Tainted (pale matte purple with golden shimmer), Junkshow (bright pink w/fuchsia shift), Omen (shimmery metallic bright purple w/blue shift), Evidence (deep metallic blue), Deep End (bright teal shimmer), Midnight Rodeo (medium metallic brown w/silver and gold glitter), Midnight 15 (oyster pearl w/silver glitter), Vanilla (shimmery white gold), Flow (soft peach shimmer), Chase (metallic bright bronze)

Remember THIS ANNOUNCEMENT on the much-coveted Urban Decay NAKED eyeshadow pallete? Finally, they have stocks at their online site. I just ordered mine, I could not pass this chance anymore. We are lucky to only have a $4.00 increase (unlike those car insurance rates that keep going up), yet you get a good karma eyeshadow brush. For me it’s a better deal than the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero shade.
While at the site, why not add this Lip Pencil in Roach at $6.00. Besides, Naked is $48 and you are $2.00 away to receive free shipping.

Here’s sharing some good news for Urban Decay lovers out there before I check on this spyderco tri angle sharpmaker.
I guess you can call this Blessing in Disguise.
You see, I have been very eager to get my NAKED palette especially after a make-up buddy raved about it. Just when I was ready to purchase one, it was out of stock both online and in stores. Then in the beginning of the month, Sephora announced that they still have stocks but each time I hit the purchase button, it wouldn’t go through, so there, it was out of stock again.
On January 13, Urban Decay Cosmetics FB page had this as their status update:
We had problems getting Naked. But now we’ve got it handled. Here’s the deal: We couldn’t make 24/7 pencils fast enough to fill all the Naked Palettes our UDers wanted. We’re replacing the pencil with a full-sized Good Karma Shadow Brush so we can keep getting you Naked. Yeah, it’s a couple bucks more – $48 – but it’s a $26 brush and really amazing.
I can’t wait to get mine! I just hope I’d be quick enough to purchase it.
The Karma Shadow Brush is a better deal than the liners and I do not mind the $4 additional fee.
My friend, W said this is the only palette she will bring on her trip back home, hmmm, must be really really good and complete eyeshadow collection.

Have I mentioned that I rewarded myself this Holiday Season?
Yes, I indulged and bought myself my-so-called “toys” hee hee, I’ve got some new Make-up stash hiding in my closet waiting for them to be tested on. But this is my favorite of all the ‘toys’ I bought this Holiday season, the Urban Decay Limited Edition NYC Book of Shadows Vol. 3. I couldn’t wait for Thanksgiving to give this a try but the packaging is just so beautiful I do not want to touch it.

The pop-up has little lights on it, so cute!

But, I still couldn’t resist giving them a try and so I did. My verdict: I got my money’s worth, the colors are so pigmented, long-wearing and very wearable. It’s so versatile you can create a lot of looks!
Easy on Midnight Cowboy Rides Again shade though as it will leave your eyes with plenty of glitters hee hee.

Do you still remember My MAC Must-Haves entry? Looks like MAC Fix+ has found its competition with Urban Decay’s newest collection. Apparently, there is a study that constant use of moisturizer and making sure that your make-up doesn’t cake thru these products will lessen wrinkle, thus, no need for anti wrinkle cream.
The nice thing about this collection is that it comes with 3 different Make-up setting sprays specifically catering to different needs. Check it out now, all for $29.00 each.

Dew Me Moisturizing Makeup Setting Spray
Wake up, makeup and Dew Me! Finally, the perfect antidote for drier and combination skin that moisturizes and holds makeup flawlessly for 16 hours. (Yes, really.) Without feeling dry or tight, this weightless makeup setting mist keeps foundation from settling into fine lines and prevents powder from becoming cakey. Your complexion looks dewy, younger and more glowing!
All Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray
This groundbreaking formula mists on, ensuring that your makeup won’t budge for 16 hours. Really. Weightless but powerful, All-Nighter’s temperature control technology keeps your makeup from melting down when it’s warm and humid, or dehydrating when its cold and windy.
De-Slick Oil control Makeup Setting Spray
When the oil production of your face rivals a small OPEC nation, you need a mighty ally. De-Slick uses innovative oil control that both absorbs excess sebum and controls surface shine. The problem-solving formula mists on, feels weightless, and sets makeup so it lasts ALL DAY. Its light dispersing particles deflect shine and deliver a matte look for up to 16 hours. Really.

In just a matter of 2 days Whoa! I remember when I was about to purchase the Volume II in store, the barcode scanner of the cashier conked out. I guess it’s not meant to be boohoo!
